
Hickory Smoked Whole Turkey
Cooking Instructions Fully cooked - best served at room temperature. To serve warm, wrap in foil, heat in 325 degree oven for approximately 10 minutes per pound. Be careful not to overcook! Smoked poultry meat has a pink hue, which is a normal result of our curing process.
Upon arrival, place your vacuum-sealed poultry in the refrigerator or freezer. Thaw completely in refrigerator for 2-3 days prior to serving. Please remove all packaging before cooking or serving the product. Our Smokehouse poultry is best served at room temperature! If you prefer to warm your poultry, remove from packaging, wrap tightly in foil and heat in oven at 325 for 5-10 minutes per pound. Poultry will have a slight pink color from the smoking process.
Storage: Refrigerated opened 1 week. Refrigerated unopened 4 week. Freezer 6 months.
Weight: Turkeys weighing less than 12 pounds will serve 1 person for each pound of weight. Example: A 10-pound bird will serve 10 people. Turkey weighing more than 12 pounds will feed 1 guest for each 3/4 pound of turkey weight.
